Regular Society Meetings

The Tennessee Valley Bonsai Society meets on the second Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. The usual meeting place is the US Agricultural Department, 6183 Adamson Circle, Chattanooga, TN.

Meetings are open to all with an interest in bonsai.

  • Mid-Appalachian Bonsai Kai Show

    Mid-Appalachian Bonsai Kai has invited members of the Tennessee Valley Bonsai Society to exhibit trees in their 2019 bonsai show, which takes place April 27 and 28 at the Kingsport Civic Center.   • Field Trip: Atlanta

    The June 8, 2019, meeting of the Tennessee Valley Bonsai Society will not be at the Ag Center. Members will go on a field trip to Atlanta. More details will be announced here soon.

    Planning for 2021 activities is in full swing! Under discussion are paid artist workshops for later in the year, a possible show in April, various on-line demonstrations and multiple small group work sessions.  Consider joining and participating!  The next business meeting is 2/13/21 on-line.

  • Grafting Workshop

    (4th Saturday workshop) A club led event to demonstrate juniper grafting.  After care requires a climate controlled environment above freezing until spring. Location: Classified to club members only
